In 1965, Vittorio Spernanzoni founded the first artisan workshop in Morrovalle, creating the basis for the brand Il Gergo, synonymous with Italian excellence in handmade footwear. Since 1995, Il Gergo has distinguished itself in Italy and Europe for its craftsmanship and innovative design, appreciated by the most demanding consumers. For its 50th anniversary, Il Gergo has inaugurated a school for young talents, passing on the art of Italian artisan footwear and renewing its commitment to quality and tradition.
